What We Provide for your Kayaking Tour in the Queen Charlotte Islands

KAYAKING EQUIPMENT

We provide high quality fiberglass touring kayaks which are very sea-worthy, easy to maneuver, and fun to paddle. Our fleet consists of 6 single kayaks and 2 double kayaks. Each kayak is a different model and it is our hope that everyone gets a chance to paddle a variety of boats throughout the trip.

KITCHEN EQUIPMENT

We provide all the kitchen gear that you will need to cook and eat your meals in the Queen Charlotte Islands. The only item we ask you to bring is a mug or cup for coffee and tea. We also provide basic spices and condiments.

KITCHEN GEAR 1 two-burner propane stove: This is used for emergencies and on really wet days when dry firewood cannot be found. We typically use the stove two or three times a season.
2 grates: These are used for cooking over the fire, which is the primary method we use to prepare our meals.
1 frying pan 1 wok 2 big pots
1 griddle 2 cutting boards 15 serving bowls
1 salad bowl 1 measuring cup 2 bodums (used for making coffee)
cutlery (forks, knives, and spoons) 3 cutting/dicing knives 2 big serving/stirring spoons
1 pasta server 1 flipper 1 spatula
1 cheese grater 1 peeler 2 can openings
1 pair of tongs 1 whisk 1 tea pot
aluminum foil
10 MSR 10 litre water bladders (for transporting water to sites where there are no creeks)
